Bo-Kloof offers this spectacular hiking opportunity to their guests as well as to day visitors.
Waterkloof is a must see and requires at least an hour and a half, but one could spend the whole day.
Skollie the Bezuidenhout’s dog has become quite famous as the official hiking guide on the farm.
The hike involves some scrambling but no climbing and the further you go, the narrower and higher the kloof becomes.
The distance is about three kilometers and day visitors have to get a permit from Bo-Kloof reception.
This route will take you to the top of the Southern Kouga mountain range. You can drive on for about 8km and you have to return via the same route.
Braai packs can be provided by prior arrangement.
